VEGA 100

The VEGA RC has two main switch ports that are important for firmware update and understanding the on/off portal modes. These main switch ports are known as the

DIP STWTCH 1

DIP SWITCH   2

Each of the switches has 8 Connector pin switch that needs to be either turned on or off in order to perform the designated tasks or fault clarification.

Firmware update for the VEGA 100

In order to perform the installation of the right firmware, we have to turn on the DIP SWITCH 1 pins 1,7,8 to ON.

After the pins have been set correctly, we have to see that the color showing by the VEGA is green and then shifts to cyan. We then choose the right firmware based on the currency chosen. Example (V(HUN)-100-SH ID003-05V227-18 12SEP19). This firmware was chosen from the download portal of JCM portal.

The next step includes opening the UBA Downloader Version 2.10 tool. This tool enables us to download the right version that we intend to use after browsing the right firmware in the tool.

After the installation has been completed, we then open the JCM003 host simulator. This allows us to perform to check if control of the VEGA RC by clicking on the following:

Display mode.

Which gives us the status request until it shows Idling.

We then press on Auto reset.
