GEN 2 

(Netplex configuration)

 

GEN 2 Netplex requires different type of configuration and setting to update the firmware. The required actions are three steps. 

 

 

1.The first step required for settings is that it needs to run on Windows XP. 

We open the documents file and choose USBDownload11. 

Connection should be set betwen the computer that uses XP And the GEN 2.

We connect the cables and install the paper.

Booting is required to be done by placing the pin like other gen 2 configuration.

 

 

 

 

2. After choosing the USBDonloader,we have to choose a file that ends with sha. As an example we use GUN0010020.sha

3. It is important to wait for the loading of the file as shown in the picture below (colored in blue)

4. We then use the JCM DFU Downloader V2.4.2 to perfrom the update of the firmware.

It is also important to see under the name category: P9 BSP_308 2017-02-244 during the firmware download.

 

5. After the firmware has been installed the GEN2 is updateded with the required firmware
